This mixer is great since it also has the whisk attachment which I would highly recommend. It’s powerful and quiet. I’m a lefty so the cord is more challenging. They should design the cord for right or left handed use. They probably already have and I just don’t know it (smiles). It’s a great mixer. Buy it!! And no, I don’t work for Kitchenaid, but I should.

This mixer is really great….very powerful. I had an old combo mixer/blender/processor that took up a lot
of space and replaced it with individual appliances when we redid our kitchen. This mixer is fanastic and I
love the looks. Have to admit one of the reasons I got it was becaus of the red trim, but the mixer itself is
outstanding.

I gave this KitchenAid hand mixer to my daughter for Christmas. I have a 10 year old 5-speed KitchenAid Ultra handmixer that does a great job with whipping cream. The new 9-speed comes with a whisk attachment. That should make her whipping cream perfect. Also, customer service is very helpful and friendly. KitchenAid has always produced reliable high quality products in my experience, and I hope they continue to do so.

I have the original but sometimes you jut need a hand mixer…this is easy to use….
